What is Confirmation?

Confirmation is a public rite of the Church that is preceded by a period of instruction designed to help baptized Christians identify with the life and mission of the Christian community. The rite of Confirmation provides an opportunity for the individual Christian, relying on God’s promise of Holy Baptism, to make a personal public confession of faith.

Confirmation at Community Lutheran Church

Confirmation at Community Lutheran Church is the opportunity for youth to delve deeper into their faith, ask questions, wrestle with scripture, build relationships and have fun learning about faith. Classes meet Sunday mornings with other opportunities for fellowship, service and learning throughout the year. The three year program for our 6-8th grade students uses Spark’s RE:form and Here We Stand curriculum to teach the core essentials of the Lutheran Faith.  Students participate in worship and are also actively involved in the youth fellowship and service events.
