Thank you so much to everyone who participated in the “Soup”er Bowl of Caring, hosted by the Confirmation class. We had a great turnout! Fourteen people brought delicious varieties of soup. Over 75 people came to taste. Whether you cooked soup or came to taste-test, (or both) we are so happy you came. The Confirmation class spent lots of time preparing to make this annual event a success.
Congratulations to our winners! Kyle Reilly placed first with his Taco Soup. In second place was Laura Sagen, with Spinach Tortellini Sausage Soup. Sarah Watkins came in third with her Carrot Ginger Soup. We raised over $500 from contest votes and the raffle. Half of the money will go to the Building Puentes program to help rebuild in Puerto Rico, and the other half will help fund Confirmation class activities. Again, thank you to everyone who participated, it wouldn’t have been possible without you!
Everyone that attended the Soup(er) Bowl of Caring had a delicious time. The soups were amazing! and I am not sure why they all didn’t win 1st prize.
