STEPHEN MINISTRY

We believe in the power of compassionate, one-on-one care. Our Stephen Ministry is a testament to this belief, providing confidential, Christ-centered care to individuals navigating through difficult life circumstances.

What is a Stephen Minister?

A Stephen Minister is a layperson trained to provide one-to-one, Christ-centered care. They are equipped to offer high-quality, confidential, and compassionate care to people who are hurting or going through challenging times. This care is provided entirely within our congregation, ensuring a supportive and understanding environment.

Our Stephen Ministers

Our Stephen Ministers are members of Community Lutheran Church who have undergone extensive training to provide emotional and spiritual support. They are there to listen, care, pray, and provide emotional and spiritual support to those going through difficult times.

Types of Care Provided

Stephen Ministers provide care to individuals facing a variety of challenges, including grief, divorce, illness, job loss, loneliness, disability, relocation, and other life transitions. They are there to walk alongside you, offering support and encouragement throughout your journey.

Confidentiality

Confidentiality is a cornerstone of Stephen Ministry. You can be assured that your relationship with your Stephen Minister is kept in strict confidence. The identity of those receiving care and what takes place in each caring relationship remains private.
