COMMUNITY OUTREACH

We are committed to serving our local community in Sterling, VA, and greater Loudoun County. Our local outreach initiatives aim to address various needs in our community.

Crossroads Jobs

Crossroads Jobs provides individually focused employment services to Loudoun area residents who are unemployed or underemployed. They offer a source of ready-to-work applicants for local businesses. Their services are free to both job seekers and employers. The program is structured in a way that they get to know their applicants, and they communicate with local businesses to learn about available job openings and ongoing or upcoming needs. They then work to match the right person to the right job: a win for the applicant, the employer, and the community. For more information, please visit: Crossroads Jobs’ website.

LINK

LINK is a non-profit charity whose mission is to provide emergency food and financial assistance to people in need in Ashburn, Herndon, and Sterling. LINK has an all-volunteer staff and is run on 100% donations from the community. Some of the many ways that Community Lutheran Church supports LINK include: collecting food for the pantry on the first Sunday of every month; delivering food to families in need; packing groceries for families; coat drives; and toy drives. For more information, please visit: LINK’s website.

Loudoun Veterans & Family Support

The Loudoun County Veterans and Family Support Coalition (LVFS) is a partnership between Community Lutheran Church and Falcons Landing Chapter of the Military Officers Association of America (MOAA), providing assistance not immediately available from other sources to those veterans and their families who are in need.
