SCOUTING
CLC’s Scouting vision emphasizes leadership, community service, and personal growth, aligning with its core values of responsibility, honor, and respect. It aims to create well-rounded individuals, grounded in faith and active in their communities. Scouting activities are integrated within CLC’s broader community efforts, offering Scouts leadership and service opportunities beyond their troops. This integration fosters a sense of belonging and the value of their contributions. CLC provides a supportive environment for Scouts to explore and develop skills, talents, and interests through learning and adventure. Scouting is considered a crucial tool for youth development and community engagement, aiming to nurture compassionate, skilled leaders committed to positive change. CLC seeks to empower young people to apply their faith actively, with Scouting principles guiding their life’s journey.

Girl Scouts of America (GSA) Troop at CLC
The Girl Scouts of America is a renowned organization dedicated to empowering girls and fostering leadership skills. Through a variety of enriching experiences, such as field trips, sports skill-building clinics, community service projects, cultural exchanges, and environmental stewardships, girls learn the importance of personal responsibility, the value of goal-setting, the spirit of teamwork, and the thrill of accomplishment.
Being a Girl Scout means being part of a network of girls who are empowered to take on challenges and make a difference in their communities. It’s about building character and gaining skills that will serve them throughout their lives. We are proud to support this mission through our hosting of GSA Troop 70329.
